Interesting

Apparently it isn't possible to foul Trevor Ariza. Two plays late in the fourth quarter of tonight's game saw obvious fouls committed on Ariza that went uncalled. Trevor drove to the basket and as he went up for a layup two Spurs players collided with him, sending him horizontal to the floor. No foul was called, instead it was out of bounds on the Spurs. I agree with commentator Marc Jackson saying: If the refs are going to call ticky-tack hand checks then how is that not a foul? Then at the end of the game after Kobe hit a clutch 3 pointer with :12 left on the clock, and a bullshit three point play to Roger Mason on the other end, Ariza wasn't fouled again. Kobe was doubled and he passed the ball to Ariza at the top of the key, he then drove straight up the middle towards the basket until Manu Ginobli stepped into Trevor's path tripping him (probably should have been a blocking foul). The whistle blows for a...WHAT?!!? Travel Call!!!!!! I don't understand it but something about the way Ariza plays makes the calls not go his way on offense. So The Mighty Lakers were defeated... they gotta figure out how to put together some runs on defense with the guys they have. Hopefully we can get some help back from injury. It has been painfully obvious these last few games how much they miss LUUKKEEE, Jordan Farmar, and THE MACHINE. Oh yeah...Final Score Lakers 111, Spurs 112. Drops the Lake Show to 31-7.
