Andrew Bynum had another great game last night. He's averaging over 26 points 13 rebounds and 2 blocks the last 5 games. And his defense has been superb. He held Al Jefferson of the Timberwolves in check while he was in the game. It really looks like he is coming into his own since that 42 point game against the Clippers. I thought that that game would be a turning point in his confidence. Talk about All-Star snubs is rampant right now. Hopefully this time next year 'Drew will be making his first all star appearance. Dude is 21 years old and only getting better. I'm looking forward to many years of his dominance on both ends. Lakers won 132-119.

Creepy... and interesting
Not usually my cup of tea. Looks kind of like Se7en, and I love that movie.

Looks interesting
Great young actors. I always think I'll eventually watch movies like this but end up forgetting all about it. We'll see...Maybe.
Beastin' once again
42 Points 15 Rebounds 3 blocks. Andrew looked like young Shaq out there last night. I can't get overly excited as the Clippers were missing their 2 best big men but it was still an impressive game.
Also Kobe had a triple double and Lamar Odom had 19 points 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. If we can get more games with Bynum and Lamar contributing like this the Lakers will be even more dangerous come the playoffs.
Lakers won 108-97 over the Clippers.

WTF
I saw these pictures and immediately thought "What the FUCK?!" and knew that would be the headline of this post, then I scroll down and the car is actually designated the WTF. Funny shit. The Cadillac "World Thorium Fuel " concept is a futuristic concept car envisioned by designer Loren Kulesus and is intended to last for over a hundred years maintenence free. Maybe my Great-great-great-great grandkids will drive one of these.

Finally
The time has come!
It's a new era in modern history and it couldn't have come at a better time for our nation. We need the hope and intelligence and calm that this man brings. I am proud to be an American. I think that today people all over the world are proud of this moment, and what it means to us and them. I am thankful that we did this together and pray for the safety, resolve and determination of OUR President. He has a difficult time ahead of him and he needs help. So we should do our part. Volunteer, lend a hand, mentor, teach your own kids, reject ignorance; this is our time.

Happy MLK Day
This is an important day in our history, to look back and envision the things that the people of this great nation have been through. And where we are now. It is truly inspirational to think about the journey that was embarked upon by millions of Americans and pushed forward by the great Martin Luther King, Jr. Tomorrow will be another important day in our history made possible through the life and death of the man we celebrate today. We as Americans need to keep the history and pain and hard work that characterizes this nation and make it part of who we are. There are too many young people that are guilty of not belonging to the country that they enjoy. There are more important things than clothes, shoes, cars, TV shows, celebrities or whatever else our minds are filled with. Do something, be important, belong to this nation and our history.

NFL Here he comes!
USC Quarterback Mark Sanchez has declared for the upcoming NFL draft. Some team is gonna get one pretty good pro-style QB. I'm a little disapointed that hes not staying for his senior season but it's somebody elses turn to tear up the college game from the Trojans now. USC will still be right in the mix for a national title and another Trojan will be in the Pros. It seems like they're taking over the NFL. FIGHT ON!!!
Cadillac 1
President Obama's new ride. Most technologically advanced and safest vehicle on the road. This thing is set up with enough armor to protect against a full scale direct and prolonged attack. It also features complete communications equipment that allows The President to talk in real time with other world leaders or the Pentagon in any emergencies or for briefings. I Love Cadillacs, I need to get one of these! HAA!

Interesting
Apparently it isn't possible to foul Trevor Ariza. Two plays late in the fourth quarter of tonight's game saw obvious fouls committed on Ariza that went uncalled. Trevor drove to the basket and as he went up for a layup two Spurs players collided with him, sending him horizontal to the floor. No foul was called, instead it was out of bounds on the Spurs. I agree with commentator Marc Jackson saying: If the refs are going to call ticky-tack hand checks then how is that not a foul? Then at the end of the game after Kobe hit a clutch 3 pointer with :12 left on the clock, and a bullshit three point play to Roger Mason on the other end, Ariza wasn't fouled again. Kobe was doubled and he passed the ball to Ariza at the top of the key, he then drove straight up the middle towards the basket until Manu Ginobli stepped into Trevor's path tripping him (probably should have been a blocking foul). The whistle blows for a...WHAT?!!? Travel Call!!!!!! I don't understand it but something about the way Ariza plays makes the calls not go his way on offense. So The Mighty Lakers were defeated... they gotta figure out how to put together some runs on defense with the guys they have. Hopefully we can get some help back from injury. It has been painfully obvious these last few games how much they miss LUUKKEEE, Jordan Farmar, and THE MACHINE. Oh yeah...Final Score Lakers 111, Spurs 112. Drops the Lake Show to 31-7.

Another Squeaker!
They're still winning but i'm nervous almost every game. tonight it ended up being 105-100 and the Rockets had a shot at it. They're now 31-6 BEST REDCORD IN THE NBA! They gotta start playing a little better to enable them to rest the stars. But, a win is a win is a win, and I'm not complaining. GO LAKERS!

Where is Drew?
Why isn't Andrew Bynum getting more fourth quarter minutes? Every time teams make runs against the Lakers in the fourth quarter its because of a few factors: Lack of consistent rebounding, their gaurds are able to penetrate and get uncontested shots, ANDREW BYNUM IS ON THE BENCH!? The guy shot 8 for 10 last night and then only played a few minutes in the fourth. I don't know why Phil Jackson is not playing him down the stretch, does he think Powell or Radmonivich are better options late? Maybe hes getting punished in some way. I'm confused. Keep him in the game he gives them the best chance of winning.
