I'm surprised that this looks good, I think that it would be easy for them to make this movie unbelievable or corny. It looks like they avoided those traps, I will be watching when its released to theaters.

FUUUCCCCKKKK NOOOOOOOO!!!!

ANDREW BYNUM IS INJURED!!! An MRI and CT scan confirm that during the game against New Jersey two nights ago Andrew Bynum's right foot sustained a chipped off bone spur.

He is listed as day to day with pain and inflamation. I hope that this isn't something that will hamper Drew or keep him out of any games. Fortunately we know we can still win with him resting. This is very early in the season so I would prefer that he do whatever it takes to recover completely from this injury even if it means surgery and being out for a month or more. Hopefully it won't be anything serious. We need this man down the final stretch of the season and throughout the playoffs. I'll be paying close attention to how this situation progresses.

Dominant!

WOW! Incredible game. First off the Nets looked pretty good in the early going. Brook Lopez looks like he's going to be a pretty good Center in this league. They pounded the ball into him in the first quarter, which looked like it motivated the Lakers bigs to step up their offensive and defensive games to teach the rookie a few things. Both Bynum and Gasol had their way with the young Big men of the Nets. If Bynum wasn't in foul trouble he would have had an even more impressive game. Gasol was great, he shot beautifully and defended well.

The second unit is better than most teams first unit. It is truly impressive to see 50+ points from the bench. All of the Lakers starters were on the bench with their knees wrapped in ice early in the fourth quarter. 9 players had over 20 minutes. Jordan Farmar had 18 points on drives through the lane in fastbreak situations and some gutsy jumpers. He looks like the real deal in just his third year in the league.

Another impressive victory for the Lakers very impressive season so far. Let's keep them coming!

Need a workout partner?

Another step closer

Tonight the Lakers face the Brooklyn Lebrons...oops I mean New Jersey Nets, still a few more years before that. We have not seen this team yet, Devin Harris, Vince Carter, and Brook Lopez with Yi Jianlian as the principles that is. They have been putting up a lot of points their last five games and the Lakers have been giving up lots of points over that same spread. Hopefully the defense steps up and is able to be as stifling as they were the first 7 games of the season. Should be a fun game to watch. Look for the bench to make the difference in this one as they like to run and can match up well with the speed of Devin Harris and slashing of VC.

Mike Vick should not be in prison. That's just my personal opinion, I think that many of the people that are against this man are hypocritical and looking to hang a pro athlete to prove their point. I hope that he is able to get out of jail and return to his life (except for the dogfighting). He lost more than $100,000,000 on this stuff, think about how ridiculous that number is. Anyway their are plenty of worse things than dog fighting. I wonder if any of these people that are up in arms about this are hunters, or own a chicken farm, or a slaughterhouse, or support horse racing. Makes you think. I would support the 49ers (my favourite pro team) signing him to a contract. I think it'd be worth the risk.

Now 11-1 the Lakers are dominating everybody! 8 scoring in double figures! Averaging double digit margins of victory! 8 or 9 starting quality players! Nobody is averaging more than 34 minutes a game. It looks very conceivable that the Lakers could be 20-1 in a few weeks. Baring any major injuries (knock on wood and pray) the Lakers could have one of the greatest seasons in NBA history.

No. 1 Texas Tech just lost big, so hopefully that'll give USC a chance to move up the polls. Its time for these voting fuckers to wake up and give the Trojans the respect they deserve. Since thier lone loss they have dominated every team they have played. Their defense is the best in the country and their aren't any teams that can handle the running game when its on. Lets also not forget the complete domination of their two non-conference games so far, one of which was the beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. All we need is to move up to number two and USC should have a championship. Until their is a playoff we have to deal with this bullshit. Now they just need to finish off the season strong and hope for the best.
