100 days and counting

I find it funny that the media is making such a big deal about passing 100 days in office. Most of y'all barely got off probation at McDonalds after 100 days, maybe you even made it from mop duty to the fry station. It seems to me that President Obama has been pretty busy these first 100 days in office. He's gotten a lot done and made some decent progress on a lot of his agenda. Keep up the hard work and it should pay off for this country of ours.

1/4 of the way to the goal. LO balled, Kobe was Kobe, and Pau had an efficient game. Movin on to the Rockets (or Blazers, unlikely though) now. Andrew Bynum has done absolutely nothing so far in the playoffs, except foul, a lot, and look lost on both ends of the floor. From here on out the teams that the Lakers will face have big men that AB will need to step it up for. Here's hoping he does, I know he can if he gets in a post injury rhythm.

The mastermind behind one of the most dominant basketball offenses in NBA history had a stroke today. 9 championships have been won using his system. Tex is doing OK according to his family, were gonna have to keep an eye on this situation. Lakers play tonite at 6:00 pm. Game 4 in Utah, they need to buckle down and hit some shots tonite. Win it for Tex!

Fascinating

Jeremy Tyler, a high school Junior from San Diego, is doing something truly unique (at least for an American athlete in his sport of choice). I'm really intrigued by this story just as I was, and am, for the story of Brandon Jennings, another trailblazing baller from SoCal. This dude is going overseas to play professional basketball in Europe. In most other sports if you are good enough you can be paid to play regardless of your age. Look at the pros in tennis, golf, baseball, swimming, soccer, skate boarding, etc. I think the NBA made a huge mistake a few years back by restricting the age of eligibility to 19+. It's a huge joke, David Stern claims that its for the benefit of the players, but in reality its a benefit to the league. It's providing them with marketability and name recognition from the day they are drafted. I am going to keep an eye on the career of these players because it is going to have a huge impact on the NBA (MY favorite pro sport).

The Lakers have 14 more wins to go to reach the goal of NBA Champs. I know that this must be hard for the Jazz to have the regular season finale against the Lakers now this series. It's like the game I was at last week hasn't ended yet. They're stuck in a groundhogs day type nightmare where they keep on waking up to get dominated. Poor Jazz. I already got a spot staked out for the parade in a few months. Kobe is probably not going to win the regular season MVP but I think he'll have to make room for his first finals MVP trophy.

Another thing I continue to notice when the Lakers let leads disapear is that Bynum is on the bench, every time! Play him down the stretch. We don't rebound as well and we give up layups we wouldn't otherwise. Anyway, GO LAKERS!

Lakers win another one!

Bynums back! Shannon Brown is turning into a nice pickup (decent defense and athleticism). Odom returned to the bench to bolster the second unit as the sixth man. Pau Gasol quietly dominated the Nuggets with 27 points and 19 rebounds including 11 offensive. And Kobe is still the greatest basketball player on earth. Things are looking pretty good in Lakerland! I hope that they end the season with an identical record to the Cavs so that the two times they were beat by the Lakers this season equates to Home court advantage (not that they'll need it) in the finals, presuming the Cavs make it past the eastern conference feild.

One of the happiest places on earth! In Decatur outside Atlanta there is an amazing place buried in between industrial buildings and railroad tracks. My first time through the doors was like nothing I had ever seen. Round here, the majority of stripclubs feature ridiculously skinny white and mexican chicks with fake titties and meth habits. Every once in a while there will be a little thicker girl thats actually shaped right (fit with a fat ass). So as I walk in it's the main bar, and like seven, shaped right, ass-naked women are right there. This is the small area at the front though, to the left is the huge main room with a big bar, a bunch of pool tables, dozens of small tables around the main stage in the middle of the room, AND 30 more females all dancing and lapdancing. At this point the place is amazing to me! Now I want a drink, it's $5 bucks, but I've had to pay a lot more in Vegas. Now again this is something I'm not used to, in Southern California, and even Las Vegas, its either alcohol and titties or none and full nude, but at Pin Ups its the whole deal. So me and my brothers sit down and already some of the bombest bodied women in the club are our direction. So my boy gets a lap dance and its only $5 like the drinks, I'M AMAZED AGAIN! I swear I seen a dude walk in with thin ass shorts on and I knew what dude was up to, let me just say I know he got his $5 worth. This place is open until 8 am and has a free breakfast buffet and chicken wings for lunch. Moral of this story is if you're in Atlanta go to Pin Ups, enjoy yourself, be hooked.

Atlanta by the way is pretty dope lots of chicken wings and fat asses. (but Cali is still home though, you hear that yak?)

More Bynum news

More good news. I hope AB doesn't have any setbacks and is able to rejoin the Lakers quickly. This really fixes a lot of problems that they have had. Even though their record without 'Drew is superb, they have had a lack of bench depth and interior strength these last few months. Hopefully a healthy team will enter the playoffs and I'll be attending a parade in June!
